In 2023 the camp celebrated its 60th anniversary!
The camp has existed since 1963 and is one of the first operating camps in the Premantura area. In the first three decades of its operation, its guests were mainly young Slovenians and foreigners from European countries, high school students, students and also families. While spending their holidays in nature, in a simple way, it was not superfluous for them to occasionally grab a shovel or a wheelbarrow and help build the camp. While socializing on the sports fields, working or having fun, deep friendships were formed and first loves sprouted.
Many of them still return today as guests or visitors, to relive old memories.
After Croatia gained independence, in 1992, the company Kranjski kamp d.o.o. was registered in Croatia, which took over the camp for further management. In the last seven years, we have begun to gradually renovate the camp and adapt it to new needs, guest requirements and new standards.
First, we renovated all the common toilets, the children's playground, the basketball court, and beautified the surroundings with new plantations of trees and ornamental plants. We paved the access road, arranged the beach and new camping plots.
The camp still maintains a pleasant, homely family atmosphere, which attracts guests who like to return again and again.
